Though Cinderella's make their mark in the early rounds, since the tournament expanded in 1985 the top two seeds have walked away with the title 77 percent of the time. Despite a tricky road to the Final Four, the odds are in Notre Dame's (2) favor to go deep in the tournament, while the opposite can be said about Illinois (9) and Michigan State (10).
