Can Maryland hold up in the trenches in the Big Ten?
The defensive line is not a major concern. The Terps return all three starters along the defensive front as well as senior Keith Bowers, who will share time with Darius Kilgo at nose tackle. However, the offensive line is a question mark. Coaches and players have raved about the progress the line has made under new offensive line coach Greg Studrawa, but it remains to be seen how well Silvano Altamirano can hold up at left guard. Likewise, head coach Randy Edsall has been highly complimentary of new left tackle Michael Dunn. However, Dunn has never played left tackle in an actual game.
