Hampton’s seniors bid a fond farewell to high school years and prepare for careers or college or wherever life’s journey leads them next. Here is a listing of Hampton commencement ceremonies:

Bethel Christian School : Graduation held May 27 at Bethel Baptist Church. Speaker: Wayne Thompson, evangelist of Engleside Baptist Church, Alexandria.

Bethel High School: 6 p.m. June 18; Hampton Coliseum, Hampton.

Hampton Christian High School: Baccalaureate was held Sunday at Wesley United Methodist Church, 2510 N. Arminstead Ave., Hampton. Speaker: the Rev. Jack Sallie. Graduation; 8 p.m. Friday; Mary Atkins School auditorium, 2419 N. Armistead Ave., Hampton. Speaker: Tom Schutt.

Hampton High School: 9 a.m. June 18; Hampton Coliseum, Hampton.

Hampton Roads Academy: 10:30 a.m. Friday; school auditorium. Speaker: Lt. Gov. Donald S. Beyer Jr.

Kecoughtan High School: 3 p.m. June 18; Hampton Coliseum, Hampton. Speakers: Superintendent Raymond Washington, Principal Thomas Bailey, senior class president Deana Franklin, valedictorian Shannon Okerblom and salutatorian Amy McDowell.

Peninsula Catholic High School: Baccalaureate was held June 4 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church. Speaker: the Rev. Walter F. Sullivan, bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. Graduation ceremony was held June 5 at St. Vincent de Paul Church, 230 33rd St., Newport News. Speaker: John Marks, vice president of TideMark Bank.

Peninsula Christian School. 7:30 p.m. May 26; First Free Will Baptist Church, 6148 Jefferson Ave., Newport News. Speaker: Pastor Tag Kilgore.

Phoebus High School: Noon June 18; Hampton Coliseum, Hampton. Speakers: Superintendent Raymond Washington; Phillip Moore, valedictorian; Wendy Woodall, salutatorian; and Monica Walker, class president.

Walsingham Academy: Baccalaureate was held May 31 in the Upper School auditorium, 1100 Jamestown Road, Williamsburg. Speaker: the Rev. Walter A. Sullivan, bishop of the Catholic Diocese of Richmond. Commencement exercises were held June 4 in the Upper School. Speakers: Sister Marianna Walsh, former Walsingham Academy Upper School principal; and senior Michael Eugene Park.
