NEW KENT – A Shacklefords man was arrested for a single-vehicle hit and run over the weekend in New Kent County.

After turning himself into police, Kendrick J. Shacklesford, 26, was arrested and charged with felony hit and run, misdemeanor reckless driving and driving on a revoked drivers license.

The incident began when Virginia State Police responded to a single vehicle crash around 3 p.m. on Saturday, October 12, at the intersection of Farmers Road (Route 273) and Route 30 in New Kent County.
