To the Editor:
I take Bay Transit on a regular basis to the grocery store because I am blind. I think it is about time we consider other people and that not all people have the capabilities to drive to and from places they need to go. I only use Bay Transit for those places that are necessary to meet my daily need. Because of the time restraints/schedules that have been put on Bay Transit, I will no longer be able to take the bus.
This is really a problem for me. Using Bay Transit has really helped me and given me a sense of independence where I don't have to ask others to help all the time. It also gave me a boost of self-confidence and makes me feel good about myself. Please help us keep Bay transit the way it was.
