KING WILLIAM — Acquinton Elementary School in King William County received a $500 grant from the ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program to support the school's math and science programs.
Joan Gayle, manager of Spencer's Stop N Go in West Point worked with school officials to secure the grant, which is one of many available to schools across the country served by Exxon or Mobil stations. The grant was made possible by funding from the ExxonMobil Corporation.
The ExxonMobil Educational Alliance Program is designed to provide Exxon and Mobil retailers with an opportunity to invest in the future of their communities through educational grants to neighborhood schools.
Acquinton Elementary School appreciates the support of community stakeholders and their investment in their children's education.
