KING WILLIAM – The King William High School DECA chapter sponsored its annual Pink-Out Day on October 4, 2013.
KWHS raised over $200 to donate to the American Cancer Society for breast cancer research.
Students and teachers wore pink to show their support for the cause. Suzanne Campbell, DECA sponsor, and DECA students will continue their commitment by participating in the American Cancer Society's Making Strides Against Breast Cancer Walk at the Virginia War Memorial on Saturday, October 20, 2013.
The event is an effort to unite those who have courageously fought breast cancer, educate people about ways to reduce their risk, and empower communities to join the cause. Money raised will save lives by helping people stay well and remain well and by finding cures through live-saving research.
