Quinton man faces DUI, drug possession charges

NEW KENT – A Quinton man charged with driving under the influence and drug possession will appear in court this week.

James Earl Glenn, 32, of Pine Fork Road, was arrested and charged with DUI third subsequent offense, possession of a controlled substance (schedule I or II), driving with a revoked license (DUI related) and refusal to submit to breath/blood test, stemming from an incident on November 2.

Glenn will face the charges in New Kent County General Court on Wednesday, November 6, at 8:30 a.m.

The New Kent County Sheriff's Office reported that on November 2, around 9 p.m., Deputy W. Johnston was dispatched to a report of a suspicious vehicle off Sylvan Lane in the county.

When Johnston arrived, he identified Glenn as the driver of the vehicle. After his investigation, Glenn was arrested and taken to Henrico Jail East, where warrants were obtained and served.

Glenn was released on a secured bond.
