King William, West Point leaders agree to work on split-levy compromise; Town to hold special meeting Sunday

WEST POINT – West Point Town Council and the King William Board of Supervisors have reached an agreement in court over the split-levy tax dispute. And, while West Point residents will see a drastic tax increase in their King William tax bills this year, they will see a decrease in their Town taxes.

RICHMOND – Governor Bob McDonnell recently announced the “Virginia Adopts: Campaign for 1,000,” an initiative to match more than 1,000 children in foster care in Virginia with 1,000 adoptive families.
