The Alzheimer's Association announces changes in their caregiver support group schedule due to the holidays.
The caregiver support groups normally held in Kilmarnock and Urbanna on the 4th Thursday of each month will be cancelled on Thursday, November 28th for the Thanksgiving holiday and on Thursday, December 26 for the Christmas holiday.
The following programs have been added to the schedule:
•Dementia and the Holidays:

Commonwealth Assisted Living, 460 South Main St. Kilmarnock VA
This educational program will provide tips for caregivers on how to prepare for the holiday season and manage the additional stress of family celebrations and visits successfully.
Lunch will be provided by Commonwealth Assisted Living but reservations are requested.
Please call 804-695-9382 or email firstname.lastname@example.org to make a reservation for lunch and for information about respite for your loved one with dementia. This program is free and open to the public.
•The Path to Tomorrow's Treatments – Clinical Trials:
Thursday, December 5, 2013 1:30 p.m. - 3:00 p.m.
