FFA sells over 500 boxes of fruit during the holiday

KING WILLIAM — Every week of December you can always expect the smell of fresh citrus hit the 500 wing at King William High School. And, this year was no different.

The King William High School Future Farmers of America (FFA) started their fruit sales fundraiser in mid-October with members going out and collecting orders. The members tallied up their orders in mid-November and fruit arrived on December 9. The FFA chapter sold over 500 boxes of fruit during the holiday season.

The top sales persons for the FFA during the fundraiser were Adam Schools with 107 items sold and Cole Lipscomb with 70 items sold.

The FFA would like to thank those who purchased items from the chapter this year.
