Name: ExOfficio women's Give-N-Go bikini brief
What it is: Lightweight, quick-drying nylon/spandex-mesh underwear made for people on the move. They are designed to hang dry within hours. Give-N-Go is treated with Aegis Microbe Shield to stay fresh and resist odors. There also are men's Give-N-Go briefs and boxers ($20-$30).
The good: These are the underwear equivalent of the Energizer Bunny because they keep going and going with a quick wash between wears. I used to pack enough underwear for each day of a trip, but now that these have become my favorites, I'd rather wash them daily so a few pairs can easily work for a seven- to 10-day trip. Rather than pack liquid detergent, I usually use shower gel or shampoo to wash the Give-N-Go in a sink. They dry within a few hours. I typically wash them before bedtime so they can dry overnight. For days when I want to feel more feminine, I wear the more expensive Give-N-Go lacy bikini ($22).
The bad: I wish they were a bit less expensive. My maximum price for underwear was previously $10. But then again, the Give-N-Go can do the work of three or more pairs of underwear on a trip.
