Name: Gura Gear Kiboko 22L+
What it is: A lightweight, durable camera backpack with a laptop sleeve to breeze through security. The 22L+ is named for its 22 liters of space; the exterior measures 14 by 18 by 9 inches. The backpack is sized to fit the strictest international carry-on requirements without sacrificing capacity. Made from high-tech, durable sailcloth, it includes a removable rain cover and a fully functional harness with memory-foam shoulder straps, a vented and padded back panel, a removable waist belt and shoulder straps that can tuck away when not needed. It also holds a tripod. Though it's designed for 15-inch laptops, a 17-inch MacBook Pro will fit.
The good: This bag makes it easy to carry my 15-inch MacBook Pro, my Canon Rebel T2i SLR and my Canon G10 cameras along with my Kindle. The flexibility of the Velcro-attached camera dividers allows me to reconfigure the interior to carry my camera with one lens on or both lenses off. There are endless pockets and pouches to hold everything from cables to memory cards and my wallet. The design of this backpack makes TSA security a breeze. I unzip the Kiboko's butterfly opening to remove my 3-1-1 carry-on liquids pouch for screening and then grab my laptop from the exterior sleeve to go in a separate bin.
The bad: I wish the backpack straps had a little pocket where I could stow my phone.
