Name: Zo Skin Health Oclipse Sunscreen + Primer Broad-Spectrum SPF 30
What it is: A tinted sunscreen and makeup primer with some anti-aging properties. Oclipse contains natural melanin, zinc oxide (10.2 percent) and titanium dioxide (3.7 percent) to provide broad-spectrum UVA and UVB protection. Created by dermatologist Zein Obagi, this sunscreen also includes a proprietary lipopeptide to stimulate production of collagen and elastin, vitamin E to repair damaged skin cells, and humectants and emollients to moisturize. The 1-ounce sunscreen comes in a pump for measured delivery and easy application.
The good: Many sunscreens burn my face, Oclipse doesn't. It feels like a moisturizer when you apply it rather than a pasty white zinc oxide. The light tint creates a nice base for foundation when I use it with makeup. When I use it with no foundation, the tint simply blends into my skin, making this an equally good sunscreen for men, especially if they have sensitive skin.
The bad: Though I love the pump dispenser, I wish you could unscrew the pump to get the last drop of sunscreen.
