The population of Plant City will grow by thousands as visitors flock to the city for a taste of Americana at this year's Florida Strawberry Festival, set to begin Feb. 27.
The annual celebration is a favorite among locals who enjoy the games and rides on the midway, flirting with the Strawberry Festival Queen and, of course, eating ripe treats of all kinds.
The festival runs from 10 a.m. to 10 p.m. daily until March 9 with concerts at 3:30 p.m. and 7:30 p.m. each day. Some big names at this year's festival include Rascal Flatts, Boyz II Men and The Band Perry.
