It's a like a beatbox battle out there on the runways as airlines compete to release the most catchy and viral safety videos.
Virgin America is the most recent with its "safety dance" video highlighting YouTube favorite and former American Idol contestant Todrick Hall dancing along with some very attractive and well-coordinated people. Inflatable safety vests have never looked so good.
Last week, Delta released its holiday short featuring a variety of Christmas characters as passengers. It's more quirky and subtle than Virgin's in-you-face take on a music video, which will debut in planes on Friday.
But neither has the old-school swag of Betty White, who last month appeared in a safety video for Air New Zealand.
