Start in a lunge position with your hands in front of your body. Start with both ropes in the 6 o'clock position. Rapidly alternate hands from 6 o'clock to 12 o'clock. While your hands are moving, perform alternating lunges. For an advanced method, try jumping up and landing in the lunge position while keeping your hands moving on the ropes.
