"Everyone loves to save money," says LaTonya Patterson, who sells high-end chocolates for a living and shops for fun.
Are you thinking that now that the holidays are over the best buys are over too? Fear not.
In today's retail reality almost everything is on sale all the time, says Marshal Cohen, chief industry analyst for NPD Group, a market research firm.
Remember the old days when there was an actual sales calendar of the best time of year to buy certain things, like the towels and sheets classic "white sale" in January?
"The old calendar? Throw it away," Cohen says. Great news for us bargain lovers. Cohen says, "All the time, every month somebody's going to be offering a deal."
