Master Gardener Training
Applications for the 2014 Virginia Cooperative Extension Master Gardener Training Program will be accepted now through October 15, 2013. Classes will meet for three hours Monday and Wednesday mornings from January 6, 2014 to March 31, 2014. Topics include botany, soils, pest and disease management, best practices for lawn care, gardens, flowers, fruits and vegetables, pruning techniques, landscape design and water conservation. The course fee is $150. This program is open to New Kent and Charles City residents.
