Three Rivers SWCD Board of Directors

The American Legion Post 172

Located in the Downtown Business Center, 621 Main St. Meetings are on the fourth Tuesday of each month at 7 p.m. Veterans in need of assist. with filing claims for service connected disabilities and other veteran's services may call Commander James E. Smith, at 804-843-4029.

West Point Ruritan Club

Indian River Humane Society

The Indian Rivers Humane Society meets on the second Thursday of each month at 6:30 p.m. at the old EVB bank branch in  Aylett, at the light, on 360E (NEW LOCATION). Meetings are open to the public and we welcome new volunteers to our group! Please contact 804-885-3109 for info.

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8356 and Ladies Auxiliary

Veterans of Foreign Wars Post 8356 and Ladies Auxiliary each meet on the third Tuesday of each Month at 7 p.m. at the Post Home located at 1658 VFW Road.

Old St. John's Church, NSDAR

Old St. John's Church, NSDAR, meets on the third Thursday of the month, October through May, and at special times as required. Meetings are held at St. John's Episcopal Church on Main Street at 7 p.m. and end about 9 p.m. Our meetings are held in the evening to accommodate women with families, women who work outside the home, and anyone for whom an evening meeting is better. KWPSE - Raising Funds for Auditorium

The purpose of the not-for-profit KWPSEF is to raise money to enhance and expand educational opportunities for the students and community of King William County. The first goal of the Foundation is to fund eventual construction of a fine arts complex auditorium on the high school grounds. Our website is www. kwauditorium.org and our meetings are the second Tuesday of every month.

West Point Knitting Group

Will meet on Wednesdays, 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and Thursdays, 10 a.m. to noon at the multi-purpose room at the West Point Library.

GWCT Alliance Parade Committee

The Greater Williamsburg Chamber and Tourism Alliance announces this years Community Christmas Parade being held Saturday December 7, 2013. This year's theme is "Christmas Trees and Memories." The Alliance's Parade Committee will be holding a series of meetings to review the rules and regulations for the parade participants. If you are interested in participating in this year's parade, as a representative for your group you must attend the following meeting (if you haven't gone to one already): Tuesday, September 24 @ 6:00 pm. King William Tea Party

KING WILLIAM TEA PARTY, 7-8 PM Thursday, September 26th at KW Admin. Bldg. WARNING: COMMON CORE EDUCATION STANDARDS will affect public school and home schooled students. Local citizen-activist Bob Ehrhart will present his findings on Common Core and highlight how "enlightened progressive thought" is driving dangerous public policy. KWTP's fast paced and highly informative meetings are open to all citizens of good will. Meetings begin promptly at 7 PM and you'll be out by 8. Usually held on the second and fourth Thursdays each month. Come early if you can and see another of the stirring and inspiring videos we've found. We'll start it at 6:45 but come on in and have a seat anytime. KW Admin. Bldg. is off Route 30 at Horse Landing Rd., behind the old courthouse.
