—Ongoing Book Sale: The Friends of Heritage Public Library have an ongoing book sale in their "Friends' Corner" at our New Kent location during our regular hours. Books and other items are available for sale in a space set aside just for Friends, and all proceeds benefit the Library!

*Families are invited to take part in the 2013 Summer Reading Program at all branches now through August 17. Children can join "Dig into Reading!" while our teen program is "Beneath the Surface." Adults may join "@ the Library." Weekly drawings for paperbacks will be held. Many exciting, free programs for families will be taking place at the library.
