'Garden As Art II' presentation Sept. 26

The Tappahannock Artists' Guild is pleased to announce that Ellen Worthy Stokes and David Henderson have volunteered to present "Garden as Art, II" on September 26, 2014.  This year's presentation will feature gardens in a different season (Fall vs. Spring), introducing vastly different colors and textures, and an opportunity to explore the art principles of design, with a special focus on composition.

"Garden as Art, II" will once again feature the grounds of Little Egypt, David Henderson's home in Tappahannock.  There will be four sessions on Friday September 26, 2014.  The morning session will run from 10:00 AM to 12 Noon.  The afternoon session will be from 1 PM to 3 PM.  A Lunch session will be available for purchase at the time you reserve your place in one of the sessions.  In addition to the different focus of the presentations, this year's "Garden as Art, II" has expanded to make the entire day an unforgettable experience. Local vendors will be on-site during the day with a wide array of wares related to plants, gardens, and art. Come see local members of the Tappahannock Artists' Guild painting "en plein air".
