Joyce Compton, who died in 1997 at 90, was in more than 200 films with such stars as Cary Grant, Jack Benny and Clara Bow. She appeared in "Christmas in Connecticut" (1945), "Rose of Washington Square" (1939) and "If I Had a Million" (1932).
Public records show the property last changed hands in 1992 for $775,000.
