Actress Kristen Stewart's new view home is not far from "Twilight" costar and on-again boyfriend Robert Pattinson's place in Los Feliz.

Set in gated Laughlin Park, the 3,361-square-foot house Stewart bought for $2.195 million features a carved wood front door, an open floor plan, a veranda, a den, an office, two fireplaces, four bedrooms and 41/2 bathrooms. The quarter-acre of tropically landscaped grounds includes a blue-tiled swimming pool with spa, a fire pit and terraced gardens. There are downtown L.A. and ocean views.

Described in the listing as contemporary, the house's exposed beams, wood paneled walls and terra cotta floors give it a rustic ambience. The property, on and off the market for several years, has been a rental.

Stewart, 22, has starred in the "Twilight Saga" series of films since the original "Twilight" vampire romance movie in 2008. Last year she starred in "Snow White and the Huntsman" and "The Twilight Saga: Breaking Dawn — Part 1." "Part 2" is set for release this month, and a second "Snow White" has been announced.

Brett Lawyer of Hilton & Hyland was the listing agent. Linda St. George of Leslie Randall & Associates represented Stewart.

No droids, but there's a 'vator

"Star Wars" actor Hayden Christensen has his house in Studio City for sale at $2.65 million.

Built in 1990, the modern-style house features a step-down living room, high ceilings, three fireplaces, five bedrooms and five bathrooms in its 6,302 square feet of living space. An elevator leads to the third-floor master suite, which has a fireplace and dual walk-in closets. The three-quarter-acre lot includes a saltwater swimming pool with spa, flat yard space, mature trees and a three-car garage.

Christensen, 31, gained widespread recognition in the role of Anakin Skywalker (Darth Vader) in "Star Wars: Episode II — Attack of the Clones" (2002) and "Star Wars: Episode III — Revenge of the Sith" (2005). Another "Star Wars" film is expected in 2015, according to Walt Disney Co., which just agreed to buy Lucasfilm, the company that controls the "Star Wars" franchise.

More recently, the actor starred in "Jumper" (2008), "Takers" (2010) and "Vanishing on 7th Street" (2010). Christensen and Nicolas Cage will star in "Outcast," expected next year.

Public records show the house last changed hands in 2003 for $1.425 million.

She makes out well on Bel-Air sale

Actress Pamela Bowen, who stars in the 2012 Web series "Broken at Love," has parted with her Bel-Air house for $4.86 million. The gated house, which Bowen rebuilt in 2007, was purchased in 2003 for $2.435 million.

The traditional-style main house, a guesthouse and a swimming pool sit on a knoll with unobstructed 180-degree views extending from downtown to the Pacific. The main house features a media room, a study and a gym. There are five bedrooms, six bathrooms and about 4,300 square feet of living space.

Bowen is the former wife of Kiss frontman Paul Stanley. She has appeared in dozens of TV shows including "Six Feet Under" (2003), "Everybody Loves Raymond" (1997) and "Days of Our Lives" (1986-87). This year she stars in the short films "Shoot the Moon" and "For the Lovers Only."
