Turns out Eva Longoria was "Ready for Love," and she didn't even know it.
The former "Desperate Housewives" star is going out with Ernesto Arguello, a Miami-based entrepreneur and philanthropist who was one of the bachelors cast in the short-lived reality dating show that Longoria exec produced, People reported Friday.
"Ready for Love" lasted only three episodes on broadcast TV, premiering early in April 2013 and finishing its run online. The show taped in 2012, according to IMDb, and Arguello's relationship with his "RFL" pick ended in 2012, People said.
Longoria, 38, and Arguello, 34, were photographed holding hands in March, and Life & Style reported they were dating in April, but at the time she denied any relationship, tweeting, "Sorry @ernestoarguello is NOT dating me, but u can see who he is dating on #ReadyForLove tomorrow night on NBC after #TheVoice!"
It wasn't until recently that their relationship turned romantic, People said. And now things are going so well a source tells the mag it's possible they could be married within a year.
"I think that's why our relationship is so special — we truly started as friends,” Longoria said recently after returning from a trip to Nicaragua to meet Arguello's family. "I guess we have the press to thank for pushing us to see something we didn't see!"
The actress' Twitter on Thursday reflected the change of status.
"Happy to share NOW that it's true! Couldn't be happier...," Longoria tweeted as People published the news.
"Me too baby, I LOVE YOU," her new beau tweeted back.
