Miranda Lambert showed off a svelte physique at the 47th CMA Awards in Nashville on Wednesday.

Mrs. Blake Shelton rocked a plunging blue Roberto Cavalli gown down the red carpet and a slimming black mini-dress later in the show, during which she took home the award for female vocalist of the year.

The 29-year-old "Mama's Broken Heart" singer opened up about her figure as she did the media rounds Wednesday night.

"I have been working a lot!" she told E! News on the red carpet. "Working out and drinking juice and just running, running around."

"You know what, I fluctuate all the time in my weight -- it's really annoying -- but I'm going to be 30 in like four days, so I'm like, 'I need to get ahead of this thing!' Because they say when you hit 30 it doesn't get easier," she added. "So I thought, 'Well, you know, if I get a little healthier before I turn 30, maybe I can get ahead of the game.'"

Shelton, of "The Voice," who's been married to Lambert since May 2011, also took notice.

"My wife is so hot it's ridiculous..." read a tweet from the singer's official Twitter account Wednesday.

After taking home her female vocalist award, Lambert joked with reporters in the press room as she carried her trophy.

I've been working out, but this thing is heavy!" she said (via People). "I just feel like I needed to get ahead of the game -- I'm going to be 30 on Sunday and people say, are you OK about turning 30 and I guess I am, but I guess I’m not because I feel like everybody always says 'It goes downhill from there.' So I just thought, maybe if I get ahead of it a little I won't have to work so hard later in life."

"All through my 20s I worked a lot -- I was on the road since I was 17 and the road life is a lot of fast food and a lot of late nights and a lot of drinking -- I didn't give up drinking," she added. "I refused. You have to drink to put up with my husband! Just kidding! But I just felt that I should get a little more healthy."

The country crooner's fifth album is set for spring release and she argues that she wants people to know that she cares that she found her niche in the industry and wants "to look the part too."

"So just finding a new spot in my life and working hard," she added. "I didn't give up really a lot really. Just Cheetos mostly! But I might have some tonight, just to celebrate."
