Vampire Weekend, Feist, Hot Chip and Godspeed You! Black Emperor will be among the performers July 13-15 when the 2012 Pitchfork Music Festival returns for its seventh year at Union Park.
Also included in the first batch of performers announced Tuesday are AraabMUZIK, A$AP Rocky, the Field, Liturgy, Kendrick Lamar, Grimes, Cloud Nothings, Tim Hecker and Willis Earl Beal. More than 30 additional acts will be announced later for the three-day festival.
Tickets ($45 one-day ticket or a $110 three-day pass) go on sale at noon Friday at http://www.pitchforkmusicfestival.com.
