The new, 82-story Aqua tower, a hotel, apartment and condominium high-rise at 225 N. Columbus Dr., is framed by a helix-shaped stairway leading to the Park at Lakeshore East, a large residential complex west of Lake Shore Drive and south of the Chicago River. Designed by Chicago architect Jeanne Gang of Studio Gang Architects, Aqua is the worlds tallest building designed by a woman.
