Stacy Keibler is golden at the Oscars
Stacy Keibler made looking good look easy last night.

Wearing a form-fitting metallic gold strapless Marchesa gown, the Baltimore native walked the Oscar red carpet alongside boyfriend George Clooney. As Clooney worked the crowd of fans stationed near the Oscar theater's entrance, Keibler stood quietly back and basked in the reflected glow.

"I feel good," said Keibler, who's been a mainstay at Clooney's side as the best actor nominee has stormed his way through the awards season. He'd already won a Golden Globe for his performance in"The Descendants," and he could win his second Oscar tonight.

"This is so amazing," Keibler said as the photographers snapped away. "I never thought I'd be here at the Oscars."

Keibler parted ways with the colorful frocks, which have brought her red carpet success this awards season, and opted for a rose gold gown that left one Baltimore fashionista gushing.

"You can't go wrong with Marchesa," said Zoey Washington, head of LittleBird, a Baltimore-based styling and image consulting business. "What's so wonderful about the look is that even if [Clooney] doesn't win, he's walking away with a gold trophy."

The asymmetrical one-shoulder gown that gathered at the hip with a flowery embellishment. Her long golden mane was pulled to the left side of her head.

"Her hair could have been a bit more sophisticated, but I like how she's transitioned her beachy style to the Oscars," Washington said. "I think no matter what she will remain clean and elegant."

Keibler, a former professional wrestling star, has steadily been building momentum this awards season. She has quickly evolved into a sought-after style canvas through a series of red carpet successes, including a red Valentino gown at the Golden Globes and a black lace Marchesa gown at the Screen Actors Guild Awards.

Local fashion experts such as Washington have gushed over Keibler's previous red carpet choices. Sunday was no exception.

"Bright colors are for nominees and presenters," Washington said. "As a date you should be a complement to who you are escorting."

Once the show and evening partying are over and the awards season is finally put to rest, Keibler said, she and Clooney are planning to get away to his home in Lake Como, Italy, for a well-deserved break.

"We are definitely planning some things," Stacy told Billy Bush of "Access Hollywood." The plan, she said, is "to just get off of our e-mail and just kind of relax for a little bit."
